Cheryl L. Carter has been a Board member at the Port of Krotz Springs for 10 years being appointed by the City of Eunice where she resides.

Ms. Carter’s tasks involve communicating and working along with her fellow Commissioners in a manner that builds teamwork, a spirit of trust, and cooperation which builds meaningful connections throughout the organization. She serves on both Port Committees and approaches issues and opportunities in an objective, logical manner, making informed decisions that moves the Port forward in a positive aspect.

She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Grambling State University. As an official of integrity, Cheryl serves her community as a Notary in the State of Louisiana.

Cheryl enjoys spending time with her family. She participates in local community cook-off competitions with crawfish etouffee being her specialty. Her idea of unwinding is gardening and fishing with her best friend.
