Local businessman and Louisiana notary public, Senic Batiste, is a High School Graduate of J.S. Clark High School and also a Southern University graduate and U.S. Navy Veteran. Mr. Batiste spent his career working in the refinery industry as an Operations Supervisor for Chevron Corporation in which he retired after 44 years of service. He and his wife, Retired Judge Vanessa Harris, have a blended family of eleven children and eighteen grandchildren. Other than the Port of Krotz Springs, his affiliations include the J.S. Clark High School Alumni Association, Southern University Alumni – St. Landry Parish Chapter, Shiloh Baptist Church (Director/Deacon), and Central St. Landry Economic Development District currently serving as its Vice President.
